аæèßäapp is the second largest employer in аæèßäapp County with more than 3,800 full-time and part-time employees, including 1,950 classroom teachers. We are the tenth largest school district in North Carolina with more than 30,000 students, and our neighborhood schools are a great source of community pride. Our 56 schools are accredited by AdvancED/Cognia – receiving accreditation is a recognition that signifies that all of our schools have earned the distinction of being a quality school.
While we are located in the Charlotte metropolitan region, we strive to maintain our sense of hometown and community. We like to say that we are close enough to city life, but without the hassle.
